The Cessna Citation X ( not X Citation) held the title as the fastest business jet for many years until it was recently bested by Gulfstreams 650. There are many Citation X For Sale which makes it a buyers market. When Cessna introduced the Citation X it was one of the best selling aircraft and it saw a huge demand in whole aircraft ownership and the fractional and charter markets. This was because of its speed and comfortable cabin – this aircraft was really ahead of its time in design and performance.  The new version of the Citation X is the Citation X+ which is 38CM longer of which there are not many used ones for sale. The Citation X is a very good cross country aircraft and excels when it can get up at altitude and fly fast.
The fractional companies have sold off many of their Citation X’s and there are a number of high time earlier year models that are really good values. You need to make sure you have an experienced flight department to be able to stay ahead of maintenance on the aircraft and I suggest strongly that you place this aircraft on a maintenance program. It will pay for itself.
