There are a significant number of Hawker 800XP for sale so this makes is a buyers market.   The Hawker 800XP and in general the Hawker class of aircraft have been around for a very long time.  Over time there have been different versions of the Hawker series of aircraft starting with the Hawker 700, Hawker 800, Hawker 800xp/850xp, Hawker 750xp and Hawker 900xp.  The cabin size of these aircraft are very roomy for the class of aircraft that it is and the only major down side for this cabn is the lack of baggage compared to other aircraft in its class.

History & Things to Look For:

The Hawker 800XP is a great aircraft and is very competitively priced in the used market.  The aircraft is no longer in production but you can still get parts and it is supported.  There are a lot of Hawker XP’s on the market and with the falling rices of the newer Hawker 900xp’s the Hawker 800xp’s have continued to drop.  This is currently a buyers market and a very good aircraft can be purchased for under 2 million USD.

If you routinely carry 8 people and a bunch of bags this aircraft is likely not going to work but if you carry 8 people with brief cases for a business day trip this is a great option.
